About this event
Despite the cancellation of this year's event, both ourselves and the Leavenworth Challenge team will be actively working on a plan for the event in 2021 over the summer and months to follow.
Every year thousands of Firefighters protect communities from wildland fires. We are dedicated individuals working together to defend life and property from fire's potential devastation. Variable, rugged terrain and dangerous conditions require knowledge, strength and cooperation.
The Leavenworth Firefighter Challenge serves as an opportunity for Firefighters to connect with our Brothers and Sisters from around the region. The race is an opportunity to rep our crews and departments; to demonstrate that we are ready for the coming season; and to share stories over beers and around the fire.
