1% for the Planet is a non-profit organization that helps to fund a diverse set of environmental organizations that focus on improving the health of ecosystems around the world. They do this by connecting organizations (like us!) with high-impact nonprofit partners that have shared values. Through this coordination we've chosen American Forests; a conservation organization that helps to protect and restore threatened forest ecosystems in a way that helps to prevent the spread of wildfire.

American Forest's Releaf program focuses on creating and maintaining forest health across North America in a variety of large, mountainous regions and also the wildland urban interface. As an American Forests partner, True North has pledged to plant 10,000 trees throughout affected areas in California, Colorado, and Arkansas. When you purchase an item with this label, 1% of the sale will go to American Forests, helping keep forests healthy and mitigating potential devastation from wildfire.
