Chocobo, a lovable mutt!
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, covered in scars, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, 'Yahoo! what a ride'."
Favorite True North Product:
Our soon to be released Elements™ Flak Jacket. It is cool looking, water repellant, and fire and arc resistant. Looks like a cool hoodie with a ninja-loving Balaclava hidden in the hood. Ingenious!
The people here are dedicated and true, not an easy commodity to find. The products are good and hardworking, and in the long and short of it, could save a life.
"I’m the new kid on the block, or, the new designer in the cubicle. I make sure your DragonWear clothing fits like a dream and performs well so you don’t know it’s there while you are reaching high and bending low. My aim is to keep you warm, safe, comfortable and looking ‘fine’ with the best clothing I can possibly make for you.
I have been working in the rag trade for 25 years as a sample sewer, a patternmaker, a technical advisor, a teacher and a technical designer. In my new job, I help design the garment, pattern it, grade it, manage samples being made, make the tech pacs, and assist our vendors in sewing it. It’s always amazing to me that you can drape a flat, lifeless piece of fabric over a body and, ‘voila,’ it’s a great fitting garment that someone will love to wear. But the long and short of it is the clothing I make can save lives, and that is important."
