Favorite True North Product:

I'm a bit biased, but my favorite DW product has to be the Flak Jacket. Designing it was my internship project after my freshman year of college. I was so thrilled to be able to design something as a summer intern, and so thankful for everyone's help! I'm excited that my first-ever design in production has been keeping people warm and safe.

After four years at school in New York, I confirmed that Seattle is the place for me and took a cross-country road trip home. A few months later, I was lucky enough to start working for True North! I interned here after my freshman year, and feel very lucky to be back. At school, I focused on protective and innovative apparel, and am looking forward to applying my research experience to my designs here.

Outside of class and research, I was a leader for the Thrift Initiative, a group that redistributes used clothing and homewares, the House Manager of a environmentally and socially-minded cooperative house, and designed for the annual student runway show. In my free time, I enjoy exploring outside (activities like fossil hunting and berry picking more than hiking), sewing, going to art galleries and concerts, painting, and budget traveling.
